Smart Cool’R is een bedrijf dat een koeltasje ontwikkeld heeft, speciaal gericht op de meeste insulinepompen die momenteel verkrijgbaar zijn. Bij temperaturen boven 25-30 graden verliest insuline namelijk zijn werking en ontstaan er mogelijk luchtbellen in de ampul waardoor de bloedsuikerspiegel stijgt. Door constante en eigenlijk ook preventieve koeling wordt dit voorkomen en ervaart men minder schommelingen in de bloedsuikerspiegel.
