VHS tapes can degrade if stored incorrectly. By transferring them to DVD now you can preserve the footage without the worry of tapes stretching or breaking. Even if the video or audio tape has already stretched or even snapped we can recover at least some of the information so don’t throw them away without ever seeing or hearing what we can save first.
